Contest rules and details

This Pet Photo contest runs May 1-31, 2025. Winners to be drawn and announced on Monday, June 2.

Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open to persons who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry who hold a valid Registry identification card (unless using the third method of entry, which does not require a valid Registry identification card). Employees, directors, officers and agents of Sponsor, their parent, affiliate, and subsidiary companies, their advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (defined for these purposes as spouse, biological, adoptive and step-parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate. This Contest is void outside South Dakota and where prohibited by law. 

How to Enter: Photos must be submitted via our Facebook or Instagram accounts using the “Comments” section ON THE ORIGINAL POST to enter. There may be multiple pets in the photo, however, only ONE photo entry per profile. Votes will be tallied based only on the number of comment reactions made through Facebook and Instagram. The photo with the highest number of reactions is the top winner. Votes are open to page followers

Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or unrelated services.

First Prize is a $100 gift card to Mini Critters in Sioux Falls; Second Prize is a $50 gift card to Mini Critters in Sioux Falls; Third Prize is a $25 to Mini Critters in Sioux Falls.

Consent to Publicity: By posting a photo, the entrant thereby releases their ability to remain an anonymous medical patient. By accepting a prize, winner further consents to our use of his/her name and/or likeness for advertising, promotion, public relations or trade purposes in commerce and in any media without limitation or additional compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law. Each entrant releases Facebook and Instagram from any liability related to this contest. By entering, you are giving us permission to share your submitted photo on our Facebook and Instagram pages, and in both digital and print marketing materials. Entries must be submitted by 11:59PM on Saturday, May 31.
